Privacy Policy

Effective date: 30 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains, in plain language, how IdeaForge Generators (“we”, “us”, or “the site”) collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our free generator tools, and the choices and rights you have. It covers cookies, analytics, personalized advertising, the favorites feature, and contact-form submissions. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the site.

Who is responsible for your data: IdeaForge Generators is operated by the site owner. [Privacy contact details — to be configured by the site owner: a contact email address or other contact route should be inserted here and in the Contact page before relying on this policy for legal purposes.] Until such details are configured, privacy requests can be submitted through our Contact Us form.

1. Data We Collect

We collect as little as possible. We do not sell your personal information, and no account is required to use the generators. The categories of data involved are:

  • Technical data (automatically collected): when you visit, our servers and any enabled third-party services may receive standard information your browser sends with each request, such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, and visit dates and times. This is used to serve pages and to keep the site available and secure.
  • Contact-form submissions (provided by you): if you contact us, we receive the name, email address, and message you type, your consent confirmation, and the submission date. Nothing else is collected through the form.
  • Preferences stored on your device: your cookie-consent decision and any names you save as favorites are stored locally in your own browser (Web Storage API). This data never leaves your device, is not transmitted to us or any third party, and is not shared across devices or browsers.
  • Analytics data (only with consent): if, and only if, you allow analytics cookies, aggregate usage information (such as which pages are visited and for how long) may be collected to help us improve the site.
  • Advertising data (personalized only with consent): the Google AdSense publisher script is included in the page so Google can verify this site. Advertising cookies, sharing of ad-related user data, and interest-based personalization stay off unless you allow personalized advertising. If you allow it, Google and its partners may use cookies to select and measure ads based on your visits to this and other sites.

2. Purposes and Legal Bases

We process personal data only for these purposes, each with a corresponding legal basis where data-protection law applies:

  • Operating and securing the site (serving pages, preventing abuse and overload) — necessary for providing the service you request, and our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and safe.
  • Responding to your inquiries (handling contact-form messages) — necessary to respond to your request, which you initiate by submitting the form.
  • Analytics (understanding aggregate usage) — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Personalized advertising (showing interest-based ads that keep the tools free) — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • Remembering your choices (consent decision, saved favorites) — stored on your own device, to provide the feature you actively use.

3. Cookies and Consent Management

On your first visit we show a cookie notice with three equal choices: Accept all, Reject all, and Manage preferences, where you can allow or refuse analytics and personalized advertising separately. Essential cookies (needed to run the site and remember your choice) are always active and are not used for tracking.

  • Non-essential use waits for your choice: analytics cookies are not used before you allow them. Advertising cookies, ad-related user data, and ad personalization are denied by default (Google Consent Mode) and stay denied if you reject or ignore the notice. The AdSense publisher script is present in the page HTML so Google can verify the site; it does not turn on personalized advertising by itself.
  • You can change your decision at any time: use the “Cookie Settings” link in the site footer to reopen the preferences panel, or clear this site’s cookies in your browser to be asked again.
  • Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it: turning a category off stops future use of that category of cookies.

You can also control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking cookies does not prevent you from using the generators, though ads may be less relevant and some preferences (like saved favorites) may not persist.

4. Advertising and Google AdSense

The site is kept free through advertising. The Google AdSense publisher script (client ca-pub-5502296227879742) is included in the document head of every public page so Google can verify the site. It loads with consent defaults of denied for ad storage, ad user data, and ad personalization. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve and measure personalized ads only after you consent via the cookie notice. If you decline, those signals stay denied and ads — where displayed — are not personalized based on your interests. No ad units are placed on the generators unless separately added.

  • Google AdSense: Google’s use of advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites and/or your use of Google services. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings, in addition to refusing consent on this site.
  • Third-party vendor opt-outs: you can opt out of many vendors’ personalized-advertising cookies at www.aboutads.info/choices or optout.networkadvertising.org.
  • Our limits: we do not control the cookies third-party advertisers place and do not have access to the data they collect. Each provider has its own privacy policy. We do not knowingly partner with networks that serve ads on inappropriate content.

5. Local Storage and Favorites

The “favorite” feature on each generator stores your saved names in your browser’s local storage. This is not a tracking cookie: the data stays on your device, is never uploaded to us or any third party, and is not shared across devices. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

6. Contact-Form Submissions

When you submit the Contact Us form, we store only your name, email address, message, consent confirmation, and submission date — nothing else (no tracking identifiers, no profiles). We use this information solely to review and respond to your inquiry. Submissions are stored privately and are not publicly accessible, and submitting the form does not sign you up for marketing. Please do not include passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information in your message.

7. Data Retention

  • Contact messages: kept only as long as needed to handle your inquiry, then deleted; you may also request earlier deletion at any time.
  • Technical and analytics data: retained only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
  • Favorites and consent choice: stored exclusively in your browser and persist until you clear them yourself.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion — ask us to delete personal data we hold about you (for example, a contact message).
  • Restriction — ask us to limit processing of your data while a request is being resolved.
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests, such as analytics.
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used format where technically feasible.
  • Withdraw consent — withdraw consent for analytics or personalized advertising at any time via the cookie notice, the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer, or your browser settings. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before it.

To exercise any of these rights, submit a privacy request through our Contact Us page (include the email address you used, if the request relates to a submission). We will respond within the time frames required by applicable law. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

9. International Processing

Our services and third-party providers (such as Google) may operate servers in various countries, so your data may be processed outside your own country. Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms used by the provider.

10. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the limited data we hold: contact submissions are stored in a private database not publicly accessible, access to stored messages is restricted to those who need it to respond to you, and all traffic to the site is encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we keep the amount of personal data we hold deliberately small so there is little to expose.

11. Children’s Privacy

Our tools are not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through the contact form, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, providers, or applicable law. The effective date at the top shows when it was last revised. Significant changes will be surfaced on the site. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.

13. How to Submit Privacy Requests or Questions

For any question about this policy, a data-access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or consent-withdrawal request, or a deletion request for a contact message, use our Contact Us form. [A dedicated privacy contact email should be configured by the site owner and listed here once available.]
